My Story
One of my favorite stories ever was when I got my first signed baseball bat from Josh Harrison who played for the Pittsburgh Pirates. It has always been one of my favorite memories of my whole entire life. It was a Sunday afternoon, and I was going to see the Pittsburgh Pirates face off against the New York Mets. The Pirates ended up winning this game. I remember getting all of my favorite food on this day. I got pizza, fries and a cherry Coca-Cola. On this day, I also got to see Pedro Alvarez hit a huge home run. This was very cool. After the game, I went to a couple of the shops in the stadium. A few of these shops are different from your average merchandise store at any stadium. This one store had signed jerseys, pictures, balls and bats. I was looking at all of these very cool pieces and saw my favorite player’s bat. Josh Harrison’s bat. It was so cool. I know after seeing this that I wanted to have it. However, It was so expensive. It was 200 dollars, and I did not have that kind of money. After seeing how much I wanted it, my mom bought it for me out of the kindness of her heart. This is one of my favorite memories ever not only because I got a cool bat but also because of what my mom did for me. I will never forget this memory with her, and I will never forget it.
